Ghanaian startup Kofa is set to expand its innovative battery swapping network thanks to a significant $8 million investment.

The funding, secured in partnership with PASH GLOBAL, a leading impact investor, will enable Kofa to deploy more battery stations and batteries across the country.

A key component of the investment is a £2.35 million commitment from the Shell Foundation, co-funded with the UK Government through its Transforming Energy Access (TEA) platform.
