Fusepay is building the AI-native Operating + Financial OS for trade businesses across the Indian Ocean and Africa.
The company is licensed as a Payment Service Provider by the Central Bank of Seychelles and operates from its headquarters in Seychelles, with a Delaware-incorporated parent company.
Since launching, Fusepay has focused on solving one of the biggest challenges facing businesses across emerging markets: the disconnect between how businesses operate and how money moves.
Today, Fusepay offers two complementary products that work together as one AI-native Operating + Financial OS for trade businesses.
Fuse360 is the Operating OS, helping wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers manage inventory, orders, invoicing, customer credit, collections, retailer relationships and daily operations.
FusePay is the Financial OS, enabling businesses to collect payments, pay suppliers and manage financial workflows through licensed payment infrastructure.
Together, they create what Fusepay describes as an AI-native Operating + Financial OS for trade businesses, where operations and payments work together inside one connected platform rather than across disconnected systems.
To date, Fusepay has raised more than US$350,000 in pre-seed funding from Hustle Fund, Everywhere Ventures, First Check Ventures and Startup Istanbul, and has since welcomed additional investors including Velocity Digital and angel investor Ashwin Ravichandran.
Why we built Fuse360
When we started Fusepay, we believed payments were the biggest challenge facing businesses.
Like many fintech companies, we focused on making it easier for businesses to move money digitally. But after spending months working closely with wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers across Seychelles, we realised payments were only one piece of a much larger problem.
Businesses were managing inventory in one system, invoices somewhere else, customer credit in spreadsheets, retailer communication over WhatsApp and payments through cash and banks. Every payment required someone to manually reconcile invoices, update balances and verify who had paid. Teams spent hours every week repeating work simply because information lived in different places.
The real problem wasn’t payments.
The real problem was fragmentation.
We realised that improving payments alone would never solve the operational complexity trade businesses face every day. Operations and financial workflows needed to be designed together from the beginning.
That insight became the foundation for Fuse360.
Why AI changes enterprise software
AI is changing how enterprise software should be built.
Today, most AI products are general-purpose assistants. They are excellent at generating content, analysing information and answering questions, but they rarely become part of a company’s day-to-day operations. Employees still need to move information between different systems before AI can provide value.
Traditional ERP platforms have a different limitation. While they centralise information and serve as systems of record, they still depend heavily on employees to perform repetitive operational work such as reconciliation, collections, reporting and customer follow-ups.
We believe the next generation of enterprise software will be AI-native rather than AI-enabled.
Instead of software simply recording what has happened, it should actively help businesses operate. AI should work inside the workflow, continuously assisting employees, automating repetitive tasks and helping businesses make better decisions using real operational data.
That is the philosophy behind Fuse360.
From ERP to Vertical AI
We don’t see Fuse360 as another ERP.
General-purpose ERP platforms are designed to support almost every industry. While that flexibility is valuable, trade businesses often require specialised workflows that generic software struggles to support without significant configuration.
Wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers operate around customer credit, supplier relationships, retailer networks, inventory movement and collections. These workflows are unique to trade.
Rather than building software for every business, we chose to build deeply for one industry.
This is what we believe Vertical AI represents.
General-purpose AI can analyse spreadsheets.
Vertical AI understands why one retailer consistently pays late, how that affects available credit, what impact it has on future purchasing decisions and whether additional follow-up may be required.
General-purpose software records information.
Vertical AI understands context.
By combining operational workflows with AI specifically trained around trade businesses, Fuse360 becomes more than a database. It becomes an operational partner that continuously assists businesses as work happens.
Bringing operations and payments together
One of the biggest differences between Fuse360 and traditional business software is its integration with FusePay.
Businesses have traditionally managed operations and payments separately. Orders are processed in one system, invoices generated in another, payments received through the bank and customer balances updated manually. This separation creates duplicate work, reconciliation delays and unnecessary operational leakage.
Fuse360 and FusePay were designed to work together from day one.
Operations happen inside Fuse360.
Money moves through FusePay.
Because both products operate within the same ecosystem, invoices, payments, collections, customer balances and supplier records remain synchronised automatically.
Customers, suppliers and internal teams all operate from the same source of truth, reducing manual reconciliation while improving visibility across the business.
AI built for trade businesses
Fuse360 introduces AI agents that support both front-office and back-office operations.
Rather than replacing employees, these AI agents assist operational teams by automating repetitive work such as payment reconciliation, collections, reporting, customer credit monitoring and operational analysis.
Because AI operates directly inside the platform, it understands customers, invoices, payment history, inventory movement and supplier relationships without employees needing to move information between multiple applications.
The objective is not simply to save time.
It is to help businesses operate with greater visibility, fewer mistakes and better decision-making.
The retailer portal and credit intelligence
One of the most important parts of wholesale trade is the relationship between suppliers and their retail customers.
Yet this relationship is often managed through phone calls, emails, paper statements and messaging applications.
Fuse360 introduces a dedicated retailer portal where retail businesses can place orders, access invoices, download statements, review outstanding balances and communicate directly with their suppliers.
The platform also supports Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding, helping wholesalers build stronger customer records before extending trade credit.
Beyond onboarding, Fuse360 introduces AI-powered credit intelligence that analyses payment behaviour, outstanding exposure and historical payment patterns to help businesses better understand customer risk.
Rather than relying solely on intuition, wholesalers can make more informed credit decisions using operational and financial data generated within the platform.
Built by founders who lived the problem
Fuse360 wasn’t created after identifying a market opportunity.
It was built from two childhoods spent inside trade businesses.
CEO Vidhyasahar Thiyagarajan grew up helping in his family’s retail business in Seychelles, which has operated for more than 35 years.
CTO Francesco Rocchi grew up helping in his family’s wholesale business, which has operated for more than 13 years.
Together they experienced both sides of the trade relationship, from handwritten invoices and paper filing systems to collections, customer credit and reconciliation.
Years later, after building technology products for startups serving global markets, they returned to solve the operational problems they had grown up with.
Many of the workflows inside Fuse360 are direct reflections of conversations with business owners and experiences from their own family businesses.
Built in Seychelles. Designed for Africa.
Historically, Seychelles has been a consumer of technology built elsewhere.
Very few software products developed locally have been exported beyond the country’s borders.
We believe artificial intelligence changes that opportunity.
Small teams can now build globally competitive products capable of serving businesses across multiple markets.
Our ambition is not simply to build software for Seychelles.
Our ambition is to build world-class AI infrastructure for trade businesses from Seychelles and export it across the Indian Ocean and Africa.
The operational challenges faced by wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers are remarkably similar across emerging markets, making Seychelles an ideal place to build, validate and scale the platform.
Fuse360 launched in Seychelles in July 2026.
The company plans to expand into Mauritius in September 2026, followed by selected East and Southern African markets before the end of the year.
Looking ahead
Fusepay believes the future of enterprise software will not be defined by larger general-purpose platforms, but by AI-native software built specifically for individual industries.
Trade businesses require software that understands how inventory moves, how customer credit works, how supplier relationships are managed and how payments flow through the business.
By bringing together operations, payments and AI into one connected platform, Fusepay aims to build the operating and financial infrastructure powering the next generation of trade businesses across Africa.
This launch is only the beginning. Seychelles is the first market. Mauritius follows next, with expansion into East and Southern Africa planned before the end of 2026. Our long-term vision is to connect wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers and their network of retail and hospitality businesses through one AI-native platform that helps them operate more efficiently, move money seamlessly and grow with confidence.
Founder’s Quote
“We didn’t build Fuse360 because the world needed another ERP. We built it because we saw businesses spending more time managing disconnected systems than growing their business. AI gives us the opportunity to rethink how trade businesses should operate from the ground up.”
