How Liquid C2 Is Enabling Africa’s Cloud and AI Ecosystem

Liquid C2, a business of Cassava Technologies, has officially opened Africa’s first Partner Experience Centre powered by Google Cloud in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Launched on 8 April 2026, the state-of-the-art facility is designed to move partners and resellers beyond traditional distribution roles by providing an immersive, hands-on environment where they can architect, test, and deploy cloud and AI solutions tailored specifically to African market requirements.

This initiative marks a significant step in building a robust, localised cloud and AI ecosystem across the continent, combining global innovation with regional expertise and infrastructure.

Core Objectives and Functionality of the Centre

The Partner Experience Centre is structured to deliver practical, measurable value to partners through three interconnected pillars:

  • Accelerated Partner Enablement: Partners follow a structured onboarding journey to achieve official Google Cloud accreditation and certification. The centre provides technical training delivered jointly by Liquid C2 and Google specialists, along with Proof-of-Concept support and local currency billing capabilities.
  • AI and Technology Innovation: Partners gain direct access to enterprise-grade technologies, including Gemini Enterprise and a dedicated “Gemini Playspace” for rapid AI experimentation. Specialist engineers are available on-site to collaborate on designing bespoke solutions that address real African business challenges.
  • Economic Growth and Localisation: The facility serves as a collaborative hub for developing industry-specific platforms for financial services, healthcare, retail, and other key sectors. It supports the creation of localised technical expertise and contributes to job creation through skills development and ecosystem expansion.

Partners can prototype, test, and scale digital solutions under real-world African conditions before bringing them to market through Liquid C2’s extensive distribution network.
