Tunisian fintech My Easy Transfer has raised $423,000 from 216 Capital, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage startups in Tunisia. The funding will help the company simplify money transfer services from the Tunisian diaspora to their families inside the country and expand its services to include mobile top-ups, bill payments, and more.
Founded in 2022 by Ismaïl Khenissi and Jabrane Khenissi, My Easy Transfer aims to make money transfers faster, more convenient, and more affordable for Tunisians living abroad. The company’s platform allows users to send money to Tunisia from their smartphones using a variety of payment methods, including credit and debit cards, bank transfers, and mobile wallets.
My Easy Transfer also plans to expand its services to include bill payments, mobile top-ups, and other financial transactions. The company aims to become the first payment Super App for the Tunisian diaspora, offering a one-stop shop for all their financial needs.
