Safaricom PLC has launched My OneApp, a new unified digital platform that merges the standalone M-Pesa app and the MySafaricom app into a single, seamless mobile experience.

The introduction was announced and demonstrated live by Safaricom’s Super App team, including Felix Kimura, Paul Kamau, Gakenia Gathura, and Peter Gichangi.

My OneApp represents a significant step in Safaricom’s digital transformation strategy, creating an AI-powered “Super App” that consolidates financial services, account management, and telecom functionalities.

The platform is currently available on Android devices and aims to deliver greater convenience, speed, and personalisation for users.

My OneApp brings together previously separate experiences into one intelligent ecosystem. Key capabilities include:

• Unified Dashboard: Users can view their M-PESA balance, GSM (airtime/data) balance, bills, data bundles, and other financial services in a single place for the first time.
• M-PESA Transactions: Full access to send money, withdraw, pay bills, buy goods and airtime, Lipa Na M-PESA, Pochi la Biashara, Fuliza, savings and loans, Ziidi Trader (equity trading), and international remittances.
• Telecom Services Management: Purchase and manage data bundles, airtime, SMS, Home Fibre, roaming, and related services without switching apps.
• AI-Driven Personalisation: The platform learns user behaviour over time to recommend frequent actions, automate bill payments, suggest tailored bundles, and customise quick-access features.
• Additional Tools: Biometric security, management of Bonga points, SMS services, Sambaza, Skiza, store locator, knowledge base, and access to more than 80 mini-applications within the broader Safaricom ecosystem.
• Embedded Finance and Convenience: Integration of financial and communication services supports everyday activities such as payments, account monitoring, and service management in one flow.

M-PESA app Overview

M-PESA offers a mobile wallet for sending money, paying bills, and buying airtime in Kenya.

The M-PESA app lets users manage transactions, while M-PESA login provides secure access to My M-PESA wallet. You can complete an M-PESA app download or install the M-PESA app download APK on Android devices.

The New M-PESA app includes updated features such as improved navigation and services. Some promotions, like download M-PESA app and get 500MB may be offered periodically by Safaricom.
